The Tinted Base gels are semi-hard gel formula mixed with tint of neutral color, they can be soaked off, but still add a level of strength to the nails. The Nail Thoughts base gels are a very unique formula that are not as soft as Mega Stick base, but not as hard as Platinum Bond Duo.

"Clear This is the only Nail Thoughts builder base gel that has no color added. It is a completely CLEAR builder base formula! This gel (like the rest of the collection) is a semi hard gel formula, it can be soaked off, but still adds a level of strength to the nails. Since this gel is a base coat AND a builder all in one, it saves so much time in the salon and layers of extra builder gel because of the all in one nature of it. Baby Cakes Base "A sheer peachy base coat. Think of this tinted base coat as a subtle color mix between the fan favorites Peach Base and Strawberry Milk Base. It’s less opaque than those two but has the perfect mix of hue between them. It’s a subtle peachy pink hue tinted base gel where if you build it up on the nail, it still has a slight sheer aspect to it. Think of Baby Cakes Base as exactly Sugar Glaze Base but with NO shimmer for the clients that don’t like glitter on their nails." - Katie

These Tinted Base Gels are exactly as they sound – a base gel with a tint of a neutral color. They are a time-saver in the salon for clients who prefer a simple, understated design. With a semi-hard gel formula, these gels offer strength to the nails while still being soak-off. You can then add color, design, or a top coat for a subtle and perfect nail look. This unique formula strikes a balance between the softness of the Mega Stick base and the hardness of the Platinum Bond Duo, providing flexibility and strength to your clients' nails. Plus, this collection is soak-off, making it convenient for nail professionals.

*Tip: I always build a little apex with my base coats on my client’s nails. I highly recommend you do the same with these base coats! -Katie

1. PREPARATION: Thoroughly prepare the nail, removing any dead skin and loose cuticle off the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail with a sponge buffer to remove any dirt and excess shine. Wipe any moisture from the nail using alcohol to prepare it for your gel application.

2. BASE: Apply the Nail Thoughts Clear Builder Base Gel to the natural nail and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp. OPTIONAL: Apply two layers of the base coat, adding an apex while curing in between for extra durability.

3. OPTIONAL STEP - COLOR: Apply gel color of choice and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp.

4. TOP: Apply KOKOIST Top Coat Gel and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp.

NOTE:

If the gel is applied very thick, it can cause an uneven nail surface or air bubbles to form leading to improper curing.
Store out of direct light and at room temperature after each use.
We recommend using a strong curing unit or else gel will not cure all the way through causing lifting or peeling. Follow the recommended curing times for each step.
Be careful not to get gel onto the skin. Gel applied over the cuticle or around the eponychium area can cause lifting. Uncured gel left on the skin can cause allergic reactions to occur. Discontinue use immediately if itching, redness or swelling occurs on your skin, and contact a physician.
